After 21 years of exclusively practicing family law across Northeast Florida, our focus has evolved to provide a more effective, respectful, and resolution-driven approach . Having handled a wide range of complex family law matters including contested custody disputes, high-conflict cases, equitable distribution, and enforcement actions our experience in the courtroom has shaped a practical and results-oriented mediation style. This background allows us to guide clients toward fair and lasting resolutions while minimizing the emotional and financial strain often associated with litigation.
Our approach to mediation is further strengthened by a diverse professional background rooted in public service. Prior to practicing law, our founder served as a U.S. Navy veteran, corrections officer, police officer, and detective. These roles required sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations skills that now play a critical role in successfully resolving disputes through mediation.
In addition to professional experience, we bring a personal understanding of family dynamics. With over 35 years of marriage and firsthand experience raising a family, we recognize the long-term impact that family law decisions have on parents and children alike. This perspective helps foster a balanced, empathetic, and solution-focused mediation process.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, we are committed to helping individuals and families resolve disputes efficiently, respectfully, and with finality.
